The Agency's resources consist of:
- Funds allocated in the State Budget (Currently not used).
- Proceeds from the issuance and renewal of licenses to different Service providers of the electric utility sector.
- Proceeds from services rendered by the Agency to different customers of the electric utility sector.
- Proceeds from the investments of the Agency funds.
- Donations, subsides, and grants that do not contradict with the Agency objectives.
- Any other sources.
The Agency shall have its own Budget in accordance with the rules applicable to commercial enterprises. The fiscal year of the Agency shall start as of the first of July and ends on June 30 of each year. A special account for the deposit of the Agency's financial resources shall be opened. The balance of this account shall be carried forward from one year to the other.
